The trademarks used by EDILIANS and its subsidiaries (“Edilians Group”), recognised by customers throughout the world, are an extremely valuable asset for promoting its products and services.
Proper use of these trademarks helps preserve and enhance their value.
This policy (“Policy”) applies to Edilians Group trademarks in order to facilitate their consistent and proper use.

 

Trademarks

The Edilians Group has several trademarks for its products and services (“Trademark(s)”).
Most, if not all, product names are Trademarks.
The Edilians Group reserves all property rights to its Trademarks, including to the EDILIANS name and logo.
The word “Edilians” and the shell logo are examples of Trademarks.
You may not use the Trademarks without the prior written consent of the EDILIANS Marketing Department, in accordance with its guidelines.

If a Trademark appears on the products, packaging or sales literature supplied, you may not remove, obscure or alter it.

EDILIANS’s image, presentation and trade dress relate to the look and appearance of our company.
This style includes the format, colours, models, packaging, labels, signs, posters and any other materials, whether promotional or not, created by EDILIANS.
It is forbidden to copy or imitate EDILIANS’s image, presentation or trade dress.

 

Use

You may use our Trademarks to refer to our products or services, provided that such references are appropriate and comply with the Policy.
Any use not intended or authorised under the Policy must be authorised in advance by the EDILIANS Marketing Department in writing.

 

Internet link and domain name

You may create a link to our Website
https://edilians.com from your own site, provided that you inform Internet users in the following manner that they will be redirected to the home page of the EDILIANS Website: “Click here to visit the Edilians site” or “If you click on this link, you will be redirected to the Edilians website”.
Any other redirection method or phrase must be authorised in advance by the Edilians Marketing Department in writing.

You may not register domain names that incorporate our Trademarks or trade names, or use sub-domains to incorporate them.
This prohibition includes the “Edilians” Trademark.

 

Attribution of ownership

If you use a Trademark on your website or refer to it in your printed marketing materials or in an advertisement for Edilians Group products or services, you must insert a notice in your document that tells the reader who owns the Trademark.
Ownership is generally attributed in the credits area of a printed document, inserted immediately after the copyright notice.
Here is an example of proper attribution: “Airbrane® is a trademark of Edilians S.A.S.”.

There is no need to attribute ownership of a trademark to Edilians if the trademark is incorporated with the appropriate symbol into a press release.
Indeed, any authorised use of a Trademark must be accompanied by the appropriate intellectual property right symbol.
If you are not sure which symbol to use, please contact the EDILIANS Marketing Department.
Here are some examples of trademarks accompanied by the appropriate symbols: “Omega Max® clay tile” and “Airbrane® roofing membrane”.

Furthermore, you may not abbreviate or shorten a Trademark or use a “nickname” for it.
For example, an example of proper use is “Neoplate® clay tiles” as opposed to “Neop clay tiles”.

 

Products, company names, trade names and slogans

You may not use, incorporate or combine any of our Trademarks with your or any third party’s product names, company names, slogans or trade names.
No Trademark may be used in such a way as to suggest that it is the property of a third party other than EDILIANS.
Trademarks may not be used to suggest to the customer that EDILIANS sponsors or manufactures a third party’s product, or that a third party sponsors or manufactures an EDILIANS product.
You may not use our Trademarks in your slogans, nor may you adopt or use our slogans, in whole or in part, as if they were your own.
You may not use our slogans in a way that confuses or misleads customers.

You may not use or register (or apply to register) any trademark that is identical to or might be confused with any of our Trademarks.

 

Derivative products and advertising materials

You may not use our Trademarks in your promotional materials, including derivative products such as t-shirts, bags, pens or other items.
You must obtain prior written authorisation from the EDILIANS Marketing Department before using our Trademarks in any advertising materials or documentation, regardless of the medium.
You may not print our Trademarks or logos on your documents or business cards.
